METHODIST CONFERENCEThe annual Methodist Conference meets from 5 to 10 November in Palmerston North. Dunedin Parish will be represented by George Davis (Mornington) and Olive Bain (Broad Bay), and our presbyters, Stuart and Cornelia. Stuart is among those whose retirement from ministry will be acknowledged at a service next Saturday afternoon, and Cornelia will lead worship at her former church in the Pohangina valley on the Sunday. Joy Clark (Mornington), and Laura Black, Director of Dunedin Mission, will represent the Mission Board.
The incoming President of the Conference is the Rev. Desmond Cooper of Wellington, and the Vice President is Mrs. Sue Spindler of Christchurch.
