ECUMENICAL SOCIAL JUSTICE CONFERENCE.

ECUMENICAL SOCIAL JUSTICE CONFERENCEAn invitation has been received from the Catholic Church to attend a Social Justice Conference in Gore on Saturday 13 February.
The conference theme is "Partnerships for change... working together in true communion." The day starts with people sharing local stories of justice initiatives happening in our Otago/Southland regional communities.
Later in the day, Lisa Beech and Michael Smith from Caritas Aotearoa NZ will lead us into a wider national and international context. And then we bring all our reflections together, hopefully into a plan of action - all this as a faith community, a people of justice.
